Microsoft admits to gaming performance issues in Windows 10 Creators Update

There have been many who have claimed over the last few months that Microsoft's last major update for Windows 10, the Creator's Update which launched in Spring earlier this year, introduced performance issues for games on the OS, causing stuttering and slowdowns.

This programme is essentially a managed crowd of people voluntarily providing feedback on Windows products and services.

In order to install the latest Patch Tuesday updates, make sure you've enabled automatic Windows Update. Many Windows 10 shops are taking advantage of the built-in User Environment Virtualization and App-V capabilities, for instance, said James Rankin, end-user computing solutions architect at Howell Technology Group, an IT consultancy in the U.K. Other options for application virtualization include Citrix XenApp and VMware ThinApp. Unfortunately the Microsoft Photos app on Mobile is not getting any love.

Microsoft is now forging ahead with a strategy to merge mobile and desktop OSes, and Apple and Google are also blurring the line between the two.
